Data Protection and Privacy Guides
Mercy Corps Data Protection and Privacy team (DPP) has released a series of guides designed to help staff and partners better understand and implement responsible data practices. The guides combine existing Mercy Corps policies and guidance documents, simple tutorials, and links to other resources in a range of formats and languages.
The guides are a response to requests from program teams and partners for localized content, more detailed information, and practical examples. They are meant to serve as a shared resource among Mercy Corps’ staff, partners, and our broader network of responsible data practitioners that will evolve over time as technology changes and as partners and communities add additional content based on their specific context.
