Oct 28: SBC Learning Group with Elizabeth Long – AI and SBC program design

The SBC Learning Group at MERL Tech CoP, co-led by Nicola Harford and Sarah Osman, is organizing an event with Elizabeth Long, focusing on how AI can support SBC program design.

Elizabeth Long is a behavioral designer helping organizations better understand how people think, make decisions, and navigate challenges so they can design programs, products, services, and systems that work in the real world, and not just on paper. She is the founder of DTA Innovation. She has developed a proof-of-concept AI tool designed to help community organizations work through the SBC program design process. For this event, we are inviting Elizabeth to share lessons from piloting the tool and, of course, have a broader conversation about AI literacy, ethical use, safety concerns, and practitioner needs.
