Early analysis tools focused on generating infographics. Working with data was tedious and complex, and interaction was an afterthought. With bigger and far-reaching data, rapid data exploration from multiple perspectives is even more crucial, and not just for specialist, but for all. Hear about a new approach to visualization and exploration using Keshif, with an example revealing the political risk landscape of Bangladesh based on over 10,000 incidents.

Behar Xharra, is a development practitioner and the COO at Keshif. He leads the business development, growth, operations, planning, and client relations. He applies his experience in technology, public policy, and security into new development opportunities for Keshif. A native of Kosovo, Behar has previously lead innovation, data analytics, and policy programing for various governmental, not-for-profit, and private sector organizations in Washington DC, Dhaka, Juba, Lagos and Prishtina. He is also a founding member of Germin, an organization working on migration, development and civic technology in the Western Balkans. Behar is a graduate of the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University, and Earlham College.
