MERL Tech is back! Join us in September at SAMEA

Following a break due to the pandemic, MERL Tech has joined up with the South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA) for their biennial conference. Together with Data Innovators we are co-chairing the Tech-enabled M&E strand, which will include a week of workshops, panels, and discussions from September 19-23, 2022.

Main Conference: September 21-23

SAMEA’s main conference will happen from Wednesday to Friday, September 21-23. It will be a hybrid event, with both in-person and virtual speakers and participants. You’ll have a chance to join sessions on a range of topics, including trends and innovations in tech-enabled MERL in African contexts; M&E systems; use of big data and administrative data; open source MERL processes; remote M&E approaches; data privacy and protection; and more. Free Virtual Pre-Conference Workshops: September 19-20

As part of the Tech-enabled M&E strand, we are organizing a series of free, online pre-conference workshops on Monday and Tuesday, September 19 and 20. These 2-hour workshops will happen via Zoom and they are open to anyone (regardless of whether you attend the main conference). Registration for individual workshops is required.
